Cousins Moving Co. — Moving Policy & Terms
We want every move to be simple and clear. Please review the following policies before scheduling your move.
Pricing
2 Movers + Truck: $175 per hour
Labor Only — 2 Movers: $120 per hour
Additional Movers: $40 per mover, per hour
All moves have a 2-hour minimum.
Mileage
The first 25 miles are included with our truck service.
Mileage beyond 25 miles is charged at $0.50 per mile.
Reservation Deposit
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your moving date and crew.
The deposit is applied toward your move.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your move.
Reservation deposits are non-refundable.
Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may require a new deposit.
Moving Time
Hourly billing begins at the agreed start time and continues until the move is completed.
The final price depends on the actual time required, additional movers requested, applicable mileage, packing services, and any additional services agreed upon.
Packing Services
Packing labor and packing materials are charged separately based on the size and needs of the job.
Any additional packing costs will be explained before the service is performed.
Specialty Items
Please tell us in advance about pianos, oversized furniture, heavy items, stairs, elevators, or anything requiring special handling.
Additional charges may apply depending on the item and moving conditions.
Customer Responsibility
Customers should provide accurate information regarding addresses, stairs, elevators, parking conditions, inventory, and specialty items.
Unexpected conditions or significantly different move details may affect the estimated time and final price.
